About Chestnut Ridge

Chestnut Ridge is a well-established, wooded neighborhood conveniently located in the heart of East Cobb. It is made up of 83 traditional homes, built between 1976 and 1979. Chestnut Ridge is an excellent choice for larger, wooded lots with great amenities! Local shopping, schools, churches and activities are just a short drive away.

Chestnut Ridge also provides easy access to I-75, I-285 and GA 400.  Use this Google map link to get a better idea of where the neighborhood is located and what's nearby.

The Ridge is a rather unique East Cobb neighborhood because, unlike many other subdivisions lining Post Oak Tritt, the land the neighborhood was built on was never farmland.  As a result, when Cotton States developed the property, they left many of the mature hardwoods on the site intact. Stately oak, chestnut, and hickory trees, many well over a hundred years old, are the hallmark of the neighborhood.

Chestnut Ridge has a Homeowners Association that conducts neighborhood business. Covenants protect your privacy and property values, which help keep the neighborhood clean, maintain the amenities, and retain the value of your investment. You can contact the Board at: crhoaboard@gmail.com.

Homeowners in Chestnut Ridge enjoy tennis and basketball courts, a swimming pool, a picnic pavilion, and a playground. Chestnut Ridge amenities are a great value for your investment.

The schools zoned for Chestnut Ridge are Shallowford Falls Elementary, Hightower Trail Middle and Pope High School, which are some of the best schools Cobb County has to offer.
